Job summary

Clean Harbors in Wichita, KS is seeking a Class B Driver (Retail Technician) to provide comprehensive environmental services, including collection and disposal of damaged or recalled products, recycling of light bulbs and oils, and on-site cleanup. CDL B training is provided by the company.

As a Class B Driver, you will visit retail sites, load and segregate materials, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• By position, eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire, company paid.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA/respiratory protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Box Truck to retail customer sites.
• Pick up, pack and transport damaged, discarded, or recalled goods and materials.
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste products for safe transportation.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents and interact with customers at each stop.
• Follow site safety plans and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
