Job summary

Clean Harbors in Wichita, KS is seeking a Class B Driver (Retail Technician) to provide environmental services, including collection and disposal of damaged or recalled products, recycling of bulbs and fluids, and on-site cleanup. Qualifications

• Class B CDL.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to use a laptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone is required.
• Eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire, company paid.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical required by position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority and comply with all safety practices and policies.
• Pick up, pack and transport damaged and discarded goods and recalled products.
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste products.
• Drive a Box Truck and visit retail customer sites.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents and interact with customers at each stop.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies; ensure proper drum counts and safe shipment.
