Clean Harbors in Avon, NY is seeking a Class B Driver (Retail Technician) to provide environmental services including collection, disposal, recycling of materials, and on-site cleanup. You will drive a Box Truck to retail sites, handle damaged goods, and ensure safe transport under DOT and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license required.
• By position, eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and medical clearance may be required.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.34 for respirator positions.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Pick up, pack and transport damaged and discarded goods and recalled products.
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste products.
• Drive a Box Truck and visit retail customer sites.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents and maintain accurate records.
• Operate laptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone to complete tasks.
• Follow site-specific regulations, health and safety plans, and company policies.
