Job summary

Clean Harbors in Caseyville, IL seeks a Class A Driver (Retail Technician) to provide environmental services including collection and disposal of damaged, recalled products; recycling of light bulbs, oil, oil filters, and other materials; and on-site cleanup.

You will drive a Box Truck to retail sites, load and segregate materials, and prepare DOT shipping documents while upholding OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and company safety policies. Strong customer service is essential at each stop.

Qualifications

• CDL A required.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Able to obtain CDL Class B with hazmat/tanker within 6 months per hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and pass background/drug/physical tests.
• Compliance with OSHA respiratory protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority and follow all safe work practices and policies.
• Pickup, pack and transport damaged/discarded goods and recalled products.
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste.
• Drive a Box Truck to retail sites and interact with customers.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents and maintain proper drum counts.
