Job summary

Clean Harbors in Chester, VA seeks a Class B Driver (Retail Technician) to collect and dispose of damaged, recalled, or discarded products and to recycle lighting and fluids. You will perform on-site cleanup, load and transport waste, and service retail clients while upholding safety standards.

The role involves driving a box truck, visiting retail sites, and completing DOT paperwork. Travel up to 20% and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license required.
• CDL: Class A or Class B.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety compliance at all times.
• Pickup, pack and transport damaged/recall products.
• Load, pack and segregate materials and waste.
• Drive a box truck to retail sites.
• Prepare DOT shipping documents.
• Interact with customers at stops.
• Use laptop/tablet to complete tasks.
• Perform site-specific procedures per regulations and company policies.
• Complete projects at customer locations, including Fortune 500 firms.
• Ensure drum counts and shipping readiness per policy.
