Job summary

Circular Services in Austin, TX is seeking a CDL B Driver to join our team. The role involves operating a front-end load/roll-off recycling truck on a commercial route, delivering and collecting recyclables, and maintaining safety and paperwork.

The position is full-time, with shift Mon-Fri 3AM-2PM and occasional Saturdays, offering benefits such as FSA, vacation, 401k matching, EAP, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of satisfactory driving experience with Class A or B vehicles.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, dispatchers, mechanics, and other drivers.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Excellent driving skills.
• Basic computer skills with tablets and applications.
• Pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Successfully complete and pass a written and road test.
• Meet all Federal and State DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Front-End Load (FEL)/ Roll-off commercial recycling truck and ancillary equipment on assigned route to commercial customers, while providing excellent customer service.
• Deliver recyclables to designated recycling/drop-off facility.
• Load recyclables using automated FEL/Roll-Off to service 2 yard to 8-yard containers.
• Ensure safe operation and safety checks; follow DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain communications with dispatcher and supervisor for instructions or changes.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document vehicle inspections.
