Job summary

Austin Powder is hiring a transporter whose role blends driving and manual labor, with frequent outdoor work and exposure to all weather. You will operate bulk equipment at customer sites, comply with safety and explosive regulations, and ensure loads match manifests while maintaining accurate logs.

Qualifications include a valid CDL (A/B) with clean record, hazmat endorsements preferred, and ability to read gauges and work early hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class‑A or Class‑B CDL with clean driving record.
• Hazmat tanker and air brake endorsements are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains/operates vehicles and equipment safely.
• 20–30% driving with remaining labor outside in the elements.
• Load/unload and transport materials to destinations, with fall protection when needed.
• Operate and monitor MMUs and Austin Powder bulk equipment to ensure product quality.
