Job summary

AUSTIN POWDER COMPANY is seeking a qualified candidate who has a valid Class‑A or Class‑B CDL license for a hands-on role involving vehicle operation and physical labor tasks outdoors. Responsibilities include transporting goods, maintaining equipment, and complying with all safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will work in various weather conditions and must have the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma and a clean driving record are required for this position, which reports to the Location Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age as required by the DOT.
• Valid driving record required.
• Unrestricted for operating manual transmissions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains/operates vehicles and equipment safely.
• Drives and performs physical labor outside.
• Transports goods and hazardous materials.

Skills

Valid Class‑A or Class‑B CDL license

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions

Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.

Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements

High attention to detail

Troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
