Job summary

ProAmpac in Cheektowaga, NY, is seeking an experienced CDL-B driver certified on forklift for a 2nd shift Temp to Direct hire role. The position involves driving a box truck between production and off-site warehouse, loading/unloading with a forklift, and delivering materials.

Hours are 3 PM to 11 PM; starting pay is $24-$25 per hour plus $1 shift differential. Benefits include medical, vision, 401k match, paid vacation and 11 paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of CDL driving experience.
• Must have a forklift certification and an active CDL-B license.
• Ability to read, comprehend and write simple correspondence.
• Able to work 2nd shift and adapt to changing production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate box truck safely between production site and warehouse.
• Plan routes using production schedules and directions.
• Load and unload with a forklift; verify material accuracy.
• Maintain clean, organized shipping area and comply with safety policies.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve shipping issues.
