Job summary

McIntosh Box and Pallet is seeking a dependable CDL B Driver for the day shift in Buffalo, NY. The role starts part-time with potential to become full-time, offering $22 per hour based on experience and a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM schedule.

Responsibilities include safe/deliveries, vehicle inspections, and maintaining a clean, compliant operation. Benefits include 401(k), health, vision, dental, EAP, HSA, life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL driver’s license required.
• 2+ years of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Physically and mentally fit; strong orientation to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely drive the assigned delivery vehicle.
• Ensure trailer hitch is properly attached to the tractor.
• Communicate with dispatch as needed.
• Inspect vehicle before and after each trip.
• Keep vehicle clean and report maintenance issues.
• Follow company rules and DOT regulations.
• Drive safely according to weather and road conditions.
• Obey traffic laws.
