Job summary

Plug Power in Rochester, NY is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Technician to transport goods between our production facility and off-site warehousing locations, and to support warehousing and order fulfillment. A CDL-B is required; a 26’ straight truck experience is preferred.

Rotating shifts may include early mornings, nights and weekends. The role emphasizes safe driving, on-time deliveries, and careful inventory management, with duties spanning loading, labeling, shipping, and basic warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education/training is preferred.
• At least one year of warehouse experience; shipping/inventory experience preferred.
• DOT medical/physical and drug screening required; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials safely over land between warehouse(s) and production facility.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely at all times with care of loads and passengers.
• Ensure delivery vehicle(s) are maintained in safe working condition per DOT standards.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and rules of the road for commercial vehicles.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment.
• Load trucks and label shipping information.
• Manage delivery schedules and own on-time deliveries.
• Perform proper and accurate cataloging of shipped inventory.
• Assist with order fulfillment for various departments.
• Support inventory control activities.
• Represent Plug Power professionally in interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
