Job summary

DFA in Marietta, GA is seeking a driver to operate straight or pup trucks, delivering to schools, grocery stores, nursing homes, and more, with a 4-day work week and home every night. Responsibilities include safe driving under DOT rules, route adherence, loading/unloading, paperwork, and maintaining vehicle.

Company provides uniforms, boots, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have a High School diploma and a valid CDL B with Air Brake endorsement; up to 2 years driving experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience driving a straight truck or pup truck, within the last 5 years preferred.
• Must meet DFA requirements for Motor Vehicle Records and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DFA rules, regulations and policies.
• Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled products to customers according to route schedule.
• Follow designated routes and schedules and report delays to management.
• Load and unload product as required; stocking and/or ordering as needed.
• Maintain load security and perform daily vehicle checks.
• Complete DOT and customer paperwork, tickets, inspections, logs and service reports.
