Job summary

DFA Dairy in Suwanee, GA seeks a responsible truck driver to operate straight/pup trucks, deliver products on schedule, and maintain high standards of customer service.

You will follow DOT and DFA rules, load/unload at stops, complete logs and inspections, and keep vehicles clean and secure. Valid CDL-B with Air Brake, up-to-date DFA/DOT credentials required; prior route delivery experience preferred. Excellent teamwork and punctuality expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience driving a straight truck or pup truck in the last 5 years.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Must meet DFA requirements for Motor Vehicle Records.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Certification and/or License – valid CDL Class B with Air Brake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices.
• Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled products to customers according to route schedule and expectations (e.g., place deliveries inside coolers).
• Follow designated routes and schedules; report delays due to road conditions, accidents or breakdowns.
• Load/unload as required; stocking, rotating, and/or ordering of product.
• Complete daily paperwork: driver logs, pre/post inspections, vehicle service reports, and paperwork.
