Job summary

DFA in Nashville, TN is seeking a CDL-B delivery driver to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, unload dairy products, and maintain route discipline. You will build relationships with customers, ensure accurate deliveries, and complete required paperwork daily.

This role offers daily routes with home nightly, 401(k), healthcare, paid vacation and holidays, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience driving a delivery truck within the last 5 years preferred.
• Must meet DFA and DOT requirements.
• Certification and/or License – valid Class B/Class B with Air Brake CDL.

Responsibilities

• Operate a delivery truck safely and efficiently according to route schedule.
• Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled products to customers meeting expectations.
• Load and unload products at designated stops with manual handling.
• Provide merchandising support and promote new products when appropriate.
• Complete daily paperwork including delivery tickets and driver logs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure load is secure during travel.
