Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a safety-minded CDL Class B Truck Driver to operate a waste hauling truck and manage residential waste deposits into a compactor along a ~150 mile radius from home.

The role emphasizes daily pre/post trip inspections, adherence to regulations, and proactive reporting of defects or incidents, with opportunities for incentives and benefits. Home daily, 10–12 hour shifts, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class B driving experience required.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• No more than one moving violation on MVR within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, you will operate a waste hauling truck to provide trash and pickup. You will lift and carry residential waste and deposit it into a compactor throughout your route. The ideal candidate stays attentive to safety, reports any defects, accidents, or violations, and inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues along the way. Responsibilities

• Safely operates a waste hauling truck within approximately 150 miles of home.
• Completes daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complies with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor.
• Inspects vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and reports preventative maintenance needs to the management team.
• Reports any defects, accidents, or violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Regularly operates a commercial vehicle within approximately 150 miles of home.
• Frequently lifts and carries residential waste and deposits it into a compactor throughout the shift.
• Regular entering, exiting, and maneuvering of the truck for loading and unloading.
• Work is performed on the road in varying weather conditions.
• Schedule is home daily, Monday through Friday, with shifts typically running 10-12 hours; additional hours may be needed based on business needs.
