Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Driver, CDL-B to deliver food and related products to customers across intrastate and interstate routes. The role emphasizes safety, timely delivery, and customer interaction as the face of the company.

The position requires a CDL-B, clean MVR, and ability to lift heavy loads. Training begins with a strong benefits package and a clear path for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL B.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move freight up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip safety checks as per DOT regulations.
• Reports safety issues and repairs required.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; inspects trailer for proper loading.
• Drives to deliver customer orders according to route schedule.
• Unloads products and places them in designated storage areas.
• Verifies delivery with customer and obtains signatures.
• Completes daily hours of service logs.
• Performs general housekeeping around dock and trailers.
