Job summary

Vistar is seeking a CDL-B driver to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes. You will perform safety checks, load and unload goods, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer relations.

The role requires a valid CDL-B, air brake endorsement, and a clean MVR. DOT health card is required or must be obtainable. A sign-on bonus of $3,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-B license.
• Air brake endorsement required.
• MVR must be clean for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards.
• Verify freight counts and review customer invoices for loaded products.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly for freight.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers on schedule.
• Ensure proper securing of tractor, trailer, and freight and manage returns.
