Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking CDL-A drivers to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes. As the face of the company, you will ensure on-time, safe deliveries to customers in good condition.

The role offers a competitive pay range with uncapped pay potential, quarterly bonuses, per diem, a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible drivers, and Day 1 health benefits. Growth opportunities exist within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meets MVR requirements for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and DOT inspections for tractor/truck and trailer.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Inspect trailer, verify freight and invoices, and complete paperwork.
• Secure freight and unload damaged goods or returns; complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Maintain daily records and hours of service as required.
• Uphold safety standards throughout the delivery process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
