Job summary

Vistar is seeking a CDL-B Delivery Driver to support America’s food distribution system. You will drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate, interstate, local, OTR, shuttle, and overnight routes to deliver food and related products to customers in a safe, timely manner per DOT rules.

You will interact with customers professionally and be the face of the company. The role requires safety checks, compliance with DOT regulations, accurate paperwork, and the ability to lift 10–90 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL-B required.
• Air brake endorsement required.
• 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Post-offer drug test and criminal background check required.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain one.
• Able to lift 10–90 pounds with manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks per DOT regulations on tractor/trailer.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines and reports hazards.
• Inspects trailer and loads for proper securing.
• Delivers orders according to route schedule and obtains customer signatures.
• Unloads products into customer storage areas and handles returns.
• Completes required paperwork accurately and legibly.
