Performance Foodservice is hiring a full-time driver to serve our Chicago market. The role involves delivering food and related products to customers, maintaining DOT compliance, and ensuring on-time, safe deliveries.

Drivers are the face of the company, engaging with customers professionally, handling required paperwork, and following safety procedures during loading, transport, and unloading.

Qualifications

• CDL-B license valid and active.
• At least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Able to hand-lift and use lift equipment.
• Clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer or straight truck per DOT regulations.
• Deliver/pick up food and related products to customers on schedule.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure secure loading/unloading and collect signatures as needed.
