Job summary

Imperial Brady in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Class B Delivery Driver to service routes with 20-25 stops daily, unloading via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate while delivering to customer locations.

You will maintain safety with a DOT medical exam, drive a 24’ box truck, track activity logs, and provide excellent customer service. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00am start.

Qualifications

• Must pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• Good driving record.
• 1 year of CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack/hand truck experience.
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds).
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products on a route of 20–25 stops daily via a 24’ box truck (GVW 26,000).
• Unload cargo using hand, pallet jack, and lift gate; track activity logs and report issues to dispatch.

The Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of 20-25 stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5:00am-finish.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
