Job summary

Imperial Brady in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Class B Delivery Driver to manage a route of 20-25 stops daily and unload merchandise using hand tools such as pallet jack and lift gate. You will deliver to customer-designated locations while delivering superior service and maintaining accurate records.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 5:00am until finish, with a dynamic, safety-focused work environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL B license.
• Must pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• A good driving record is required.
• At least 1 year of CDL B experience.
• At least 1 year of route delivery experience.
• At least 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely and work physically.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a route of 20-25 stops daily.
• Unload products using hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points.
• Track and document activity logs accurately.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch promptly.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.

The Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of 20-25 stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5:00am-finish.

You Will

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You Have

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
