Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling in Florida is seeking a Rear End Loader Driver to safely operate a Rear End Loader Truck on assigned routes, serving residential and commercial customers.

This role requires a CDL, a strong safety mindset, excellent customer service, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, collaborate with dispatch, and help teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.

• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Rear End Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Follow all DOT regulations and wear PPE at all times.
