Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Tack Truck Operator in its Asphalt division in Maryland. The role focuses on safely operating a TCT truck, delivering asphalt materials to paving sites, and supporting asphalt operations while complying with safety rules.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a CDL Class A or B with Tanker endorsement, and experience on Maryland roadway projects. Daily travel is required and safety is a core priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience on Maryland roadway projects preferred.
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker endorsement and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate a TCT truck safely in asphalt paving operations.
• Transport asphalt materials to and from job sites.
• Load, unload and maneuver materials as directed by the paving crew.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Follow DOT regulations and site-specific safety policies.
• Assist with general paving operations when needed.
