Job summary

Amrize, a leading supplier of quality construction materials in the United States, is seeking a Tack Truck Operator for our Asphalt division. You will safely operate a TCT truck to transport asphalt materials to paving job sites and support asphalt operations with a focus on safety.

Daily travel is required; must hold a Valid CDL with Tank Endorsement and a clean driving record. Experience with Maryland roadway projects and previous TCT truck operation are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience on Maryland roadway projects.
• Valid CDL with Tank Endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience driving TCT trucks and working in asphalt operations preferred.
• Knowledge of asphalt paving processes and job site safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Daily travel required; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a TCT truck in asphalt paving operations.
• Transport asphalt materials to and from job sites.
• Load, unload, and maneuver materials as directed by the paving crew.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or delays to supervisors.
• Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and site-specific rules.
• Assist with general paving operations when needed.
• Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health, safety and environmental policies.
