Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Ashland, KY seeks a delivery associate with CDL to load, deliver, and unload merchandise while delivering excellent customer service. You will plan routes, verify orders, and ensure safe loads in compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include helping customers, coordinating with drivers, and maintaining clean, safe store operations. Prior delivery or in-home service experience is preferred; must meet CDL and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL License - In locations with multi-unit CMV (tractor trailer & flatbed) a class A license is required to operate.
• Class B CDL License - In locations with single-unit CMV (tandem flatbed) a class A or B license with air break endorsement is required to operate.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times and assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, delivers merchandise on schedule, and loads trucks.
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery and ensures loads are safe and compliant with DOT regulations.
