Job summary

DSV is seeking a Yard Driver for a 12-hour night shift at our West Virginia site. You will maintain yard trucks, move trailers, and ensure safety and organization of the yard and warehouse area.

Requires a Class A CDL with 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, a clean driving record, and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will interact with warehouse staff, use RF systems for trailer inventory, and perform related warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with 2 years, verifiable, tractor-trailer experience.
• Possess a clean driving record.
• Good interpersonal skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read, decode, and decipher freight coding; comply with DMV/DOL driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of the yard truck.
• Moves trailers in and out of the docks in a timely manner.
• Interacts with warehouse team members to maximize output and efficiency.
• Inspect truck and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness and notify supervisor of repairs.
• Load trucks as needed.
• Use RF Computer System for Trailer Inventory Control.
• Perform all functions of a Warehouse Associate.
