Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Yard Driver/Jockey to safely move trailers, containers, and trucks around the yard and shipping areas. This in-person, full-time role requires a Class A Virginia CDL and DOT/OSHA compliance, with responsibilities spanning trailer movement, equipment maintenance, and safety adherence.

Work is on-site at both plants in Virginia, with travel between facilities. The position includes physical labor outdoors, weekends possible, and a comprehensive benefits package as

Qualifications

• Current Class A Virginia Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Motor vehicle record +5 required.
• Complete CDL background application.
• Perform general outdoor labor in variable weather.
• Follow all DOT/OSHA safety requirements.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks around yard switching containers.
• Move trailers safely for shipping/receiving/production.
• Transport trailers to third-party repairers as needed.
• Perform daily housekeeping of trailers/tractors.
• Operate forklift when authorized.
• Maintain logs/records as required by law.
