TransForce is seeking a CDL A yard jockey and shuttle driver in Southborough, MA. The role moves 53-foot dry van trailers between Southborough and Marlborough, with yard moves, on a local Monday through Friday schedule.

Expect to start around 3:00–4:00 PM and finish about 12:00–2:00 AM. Candidates must have a valid CDL A, at least one year of verifiable driving experience, a clean record, and meet DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• 1+ year of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Haul empty and full 53-foot dry van trailers between Southborough and Marlborough.
• Complete yard moves and approximately 6 to 12 round trips.
• Use a mission table to accept assignments and locate trailers.
• Operate equipment with Samsara and cameras.
• Complete training turns with a veteran driver to learn procedures.

This CDL A yard jockey and shuttle driver role is based in Southborough, MA and pays $28per hour. You will move 53-foot dry van trailers between Southborough and Marlborough, along with yard moves. This is a TransForce driving opportunity with a local Monday through Friday assignment and a path from temporary to permanent employment.

This role requires experience with 53-foot dry van trailers.

Pay & Schedule

• $28per hour
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Start time between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM
• Typically ends between 12:00 AM and 2:00 AM
• Local work based in Southborough, MA

What You'll Be Doing

• Haul empty and full 53-foot dry van trailers between Southborough and Marlborough, in either direction.
• Complete yard moves and approximately 6 to 12 round trips.
• Use a mission table to accept assignments and locate trailers.
• Operate equipment with Samsara and inward- and outward-facing cameras.
• Complete approximately three training turns with a veteran driver to learn operating procedures.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
