Job summary

TransForce in Moreno Valley, CA is hiring for a CDL A/B or non-CDL yard jockey to move domestic trailers inside the facility. This local role pays $28 per hour and requires no public-road driving. You'll work a Monday through Thursday schedule from 3:00 p.m.

to 1:00 a.m., performing yard movements with a yard truck and hydraulic fifth wheel. Responsibilities include connecting and disconnecting trailers, placing wheel chocks, handling air lines, and operating the yard truck.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL A, CDL B, or Driver's License.
• At least 6 months of CDL driving experience.
• Clean MVR with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Move and reposition domestic trailers within the facility yard using a yard hostler.
• Connect, move, position, and disconnect trailers at designated locations.
• Remove and place wheel chocks, connect and disconnect air lines, and place and remove glad hand locks.
• Operate equipment with a hydraulic fifth wheel, so manual trailer landing gear cranking is not required.
• Perform no-touch yard movements without operating on public streets or roadways.
