Job summary

Join NFI to take advantage of a home-daily driving role with steady schedules and a late-model fleet. Earn hourly pay of $28 based on a 50-hour workweek with paid overtime, plus quarterly and annual safety bonuses and a $2,000 driver referral bonus.

Responsibilities

• Spotter duties including moving trailers in the yard, in and out of dock doors, and yard checks for trailer maintenance and counts.
• Move freight safely and efficiently while maintaining yard organization.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies during operations.

NFI driver expectations and requirements:

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Ability to report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
• Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements.
