Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is looking for a qualified driver to move loads in the yard and deliver to customer sites. You will back trailers to docks, verify loads, and operate forklift and pallet jacks. You must pass pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

The role requires a Class A license, DOT medical card, and a clean driving record. The position supports various shifts and emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Must have good customer service and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness; able to get in and out of trucks several times per day.
• Able to work in all environments and inclement weather; compliant with safety rules.
• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background check and road test.
• Possess a valid Class A commercial Driver's license and DOT medical card.
• No DUI/DWI or major violations in past 5 years; MVR check required.

Responsibilities

• Move loads around the yard and to customer sites as needed.
• Back up trailers to dock doors; negotiate space with other trailers.
• Verify loads for accuracy and delivery instructions.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Assist loading/unloading trucks with product up to 50 lbs.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

• Class A
• Good customer service & teamwork skills
• Good physical condition; must be able to get in and out of trucks several times per day
• Able to work in all types of environments, including inclement weather
• Good backing skills
• Recent verifiable, driving experience or related
• Current DOT medical card
• No DUI/DWI, Careless/Reckless driving citations or revoked/suspended license in the past 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
• MVR required for interview (current, dated within 30 days of application)
• Prior to employment, able to pass a complete DOT physical, drug screen, criminal background check and road test
• Available for any shift.
• Able to lift 35 pounds.
• Work jobs that have repetitive motion.
• Follow safe work practices and rules.
• Able to prove they have a right to work in the United States.
• Successfully pass a physician’s examination, drug screen and background check.
• Willing to have a baseline audiometric test
• Prefer high school graduates or GEDs
• Sufficient work experience to be successful on the job

Pay

The range is $26.51-27.99 per hour. Exact salary offered will depend on candidate’s experience, work location, skills, etc.
