Job summary

C.R. England is seeking experienced truck drivers for linehaul runs starting from the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA. Expect 1–5 stops per load with occasional backhauls, covering CA and NV, and weekly 34-hour resets.

Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be 21 or older with 3+ months of recent CDL experience. Elite safety standards and reliable transportation are essential for joining our driver team.

Responsibilities

• Operate 53' dry van/reefer trailers from the Walmart DC in Shafter, CA to stores across CA and NV.
• Complete 1–5 stops per load with potential backhaul to the DC.
• Maintain safe driving practices and on-time deliveries per schedule.
• Adhere to schedule with 34-hour weekly reset and potential mid-week home time.
• Report to and depart from Shafter Walmart DC with the appropriate equipment and supplies.

Your week starts at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA, with no-touch loads bound for stores across California and Nevada. Loads run 1 to 5 stops, sometimes with a backhaul into the DC.

Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week. You get a 34-hour reset weekly, and there's a chance to get home mid-week too.

• Freight originates at the Walmart DC in Shafter, CA
• Deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV
• 1 to 5 stops per load, with a possible backhaul into the DC

Schedule:

• Shifts start between 3pm and 9pm
• 34-hour reset weekly
• Linehaul drivers are typically off 34-48 hours per week
• Possibility of getting home mid-week

Equipment:

• Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions
• 53' dry van and reefer trailers
• Trucks park at the Shafter Walmart DC: 2701 Driver Road, Shafter CA 93263

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
• Reliable transportation to commute to and from work
