Job summary

C.R. England in California is seeking experienced truck drivers for on-site, full-time linehaul roles. Drivers start from the Walmart DC in Shafter and deliver to various locations across CA and NV, with 1–5 stops per load and occasional backhauls into the DC.

Shifts run 3pm–9pm with a weekly 34-hour reset. Sleeper trucks and 53' dry van/reefer trailers are used. PTO and 401(k) options are provided along with comprehensive health benefits. Home time may be possible mid-week.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
• Reliable transportation to commute to and from work
• Lane not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees

Your week starts at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA, with no-touch loads bound for stores across California and Nevada. Loads run 1 to 5 stops, sometimes with a backhaul into the DC.

Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week. You get a 34-hour reset weekly, and there's a chance to get home mid-week too.

• Freight originates at the Walmart DC in Shafter, CA
• Deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV
• 1 to 5 stops per load, with a possible backhaul into the DC

Schedule:

• Shifts start between 3pm and 9pm
• 34-hour reset weekly
• Linehaul drivers are typically off 34-48 hours per week
• Possibility of getting home mid-week
