Job summary

C.R. England is hiring experienced truck drivers for on-site, full-time runs from the Walmart DC in Shafter, CA, delivering to stores across California and Nevada. Expect 1–5 stops per load with occasional backhaul to the DC, and a 34-hour reset weekly.

Shifts start in the early evening, with opportunities to get home mid-week. Sleeper tractors with 53' dry van and reefer trailers are used; 21+ drivers mean you’ll join a company run by truckers who value safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Reliable transportation to commute to the Walmart DC.

Responsibilities

• Operate sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions on the CA/NV lane.
• Deliver loads to stores across California and Nevada with 1–5 stops per load.
• Maintain safety, follow company policies, and participate in 34-hour weekly reset.

Your week starts at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA, with no-touch loads bound for stores across California and Nevada. Loads run 1 to 5 stops, sometimes with a backhaul into the DC.

Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week. You get a 34-hour reset weekly, and there's a chance to get home mid-week too.

• Freight originates at the Walmart DC in Shafter, CA
• Deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV
• 1 to 5 stops per load, with a possible backhaul into the DC

Schedule:

• Shifts start between 3pm and 9pm
• 34-hour reset weekly
• Linehaul drivers are typically off 34-48 hours per week
• Possibility of getting home mid-week

Equipment:

• Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions
• 53' dry van and reefer trailers
• Trucks park at the Shafter Walmart DC: 2701 Driver Road, Shafter CA 93263

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
• Reliable transportation to commute to and from work
