C.R. England is seeking experienced truck drivers for on-site, full-time work based out of the Shafter, CA Walmart DC. You’ll haul loads to stores across California and Nevada, typically with 1 to 5 stops per load and possible backhauls into the DC.

Drivers average about 1,700 miles per week with a 34-hour reset each week and the potential to get home mid-week. Sleeper trucks, 53’ trailers, and various pay features support a steady schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions.
• Deliver loads to stores across CA and NV with 1–5 stops per load.
• Maintain safety, compliance and on-time performance.

Your week starts at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA, with no-touch loads bound for stores across California and Nevada. Loads run 1 to 5 stops, sometimes with a backhaul into the DC.

Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week. You get a 34-hour reset weekly, and there's a chance to get home mid-week too.

• Freight originates at the Walmart DC in Shafter, CA
• Deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV
• 1 to 5 stops per load, with a possible backhaul into the DC

Schedule:

• Shifts start between 3pm and 9pm
• 34-hour reset weekly
• Linehaul drivers are typically off 34-48 hours per week
• Possibility of getting home mid-week

• Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions
• 53' dry van and reefer trailers

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
