Job summary

C.R. England is hiring experienced truck drivers for on-site routes starting from the Shafter, CA Walmart DC, delivering to CA and NV. This full-time position offers sleeper trucks, 53' dry van/reefer trailers, and overnight shifts with a 34-hour reset weekly.

Potential mid-week home time is possible for qualified drivers. Drivers typically run 1–5 stops per load with backhaul options, and benefits include medical/dental/vision, HSA, FSA, life and AD+D insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• Need reliable transportation to commute to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Drive sleeper trucks on linehaul routes with automatic transmissions.
• Make 1–5 stops per load across CA and NV, with potential backhaul to the DC.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and on-time deliveries while adhering to company policies.

Your week starts at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA, with no-touch loads bound for stores across California and Nevada. Loads run 1 to 5 stops, sometimes with a backhaul into the DC.

Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week. You get a 34-hour reset weekly, and there's a chance to get home mid-week too.

• Freight originates at the Walmart DC in Shafter, CA
• Deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV
• 1 to 5 stops per load, with a possible backhaul into the DC

Schedule:

• Shifts start between 3pm and 9pm
• 34-hour reset weekly
• Linehaul drivers are typically off 34-48 hours per week
• Possibility of getting home mid-week

Equipment:

• Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions
• 53' dry van and reefer trailers
• Trucks park at the Shafter Walmart DC: 2701 Driver Road, Shafter CA 93263
• Stop pay
• Holiday Sign-On Bonus - $1,000

Requirements:
