Job summary

Ambipar Response is seeking a skilled CDL driver to safely transport equipment, waste, and vacuum materials from onsite locations. The role requires adherence to DOT regulations, proper use of eLogs, and strong safety practices.

You will load and unload roll-off containers, follow routes with GPS, and support team members across shifts and weather conditions. The position is full-time, onsite in Alabama, with travel up to 40% and a pay hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT and Hazmat physical examination.
• Experience driving tractor-trailer or vacuum/roll-off equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer or straight truck in compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Operate vacuum trucks to extract and transport wastewater and sludge with proper containment.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload roll-off containers while adhering to weight limits and site protocols.
• Handle waste materials following federal/state regulations and company guidelines.
• Use electronic logs to track hours of service and compliance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Follow routes and schedules, using GPS to ensure timely deliveries.
• Support crew and adapt to onsite safety requirements as needed.
