Job summary

Ambipar Response is seeking a Class A or B CDL Driver in Houston to safely transport equipment, vacuum tanks, and waste materials. You will comply with all DOT regulations, perform pre-trip inspections, and use electronic logs to track hours of service while delivering exceptional service.

This full-time, on-site position requires up to 40% travel, strong safety awareness, physical stamina, and the ability to work with a diverse crew in environmental services.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with no restrictions and a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to pass a DOT and Hazmat physical examination.
• Experience transporting waste materials and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer or straight truck in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Use vacuum trucks to transport liquids, sludge, and solids safely.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload roll-off containers within weight limits and site protocols.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials per regulations and company guidelines.
• Record hours of service accurately with eLogs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report issues to dispatch to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Travel up to 40% as needed and follow routes/timetables.
