Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with no restrictions and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and vehicle safety regulations.
• Ability to pass a DOT and Hazmat physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck per DOT rules and company policy.
• Use vacuum trucks to transport liquid, sludge, and solid waste safely, avoiding spills.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload roll-off containers within weight limits and DOT rules.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste per federal/state guidelines.
• Accurately log hours with electronic logs (eLogs) for compliance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch promptly for safety and efficiency.
• Assist with loading/unloading at pickup/delivery locations, using liftgates if needed.
