Job summary

Suncast Corporation in Illinois seeks an experienced Truck Driver/Spotter to haul resin products within a 150-mile radius and occasionally overnight. You will operate tractors and yard equipment, perform inspections, document logs, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications include a valid Illinois CDL Class A, a clean driving record, and the ability to work six days per week including some holidays.

Qualifications

• Illinois CDL license, Class A required.
• 1+ year of professional driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record with no suspensions or revoked licenses.
• Must pass the DOT physical examination.
• Willingness to work 6 days per week, including some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate the tractor-trailer safely to multiple locations.
• Complete most trips within a 75-mile radius; occasional overnight travel.
• Perform pre-trip, in-transit, and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and trip records.
• Coordinate with dispatch, shipping, and yard personnel for efficient trailer flow.
• Assist with loading/unloading and yard spotter duties as needed.
