CHS Illinois in Sycamore, IL is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to support the chemical shed, seed treatment, and basic operations while driving as needed. This is a Monday–Friday home-daily position with required overtime during spring and fall.

Candidates should have a Class A CDL or be able to obtain one with our assistance. The role emphasizes safety, inventory control, and timely delivery of agricultural inputs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends.
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL preferred.
• Agriculture background preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
• Maintain strong safety culture.
• Perform other assigned duties
