Job summary

Thomas Enterprises of Greensboro, Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a commercial motor vehicle driver to transport non-hazardous materials to designated sites, while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and completing all driver paperwork.

You will secure cargo, comply with DOT regulations, operate ELD devices, and maintain forklift certification as required; occasional lifting of 30–50 lbs and travel to support trade shows.

Qualifications

• Must meet DOT physicals and drug testing requirements.
• Experience performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Knowledge of cargo securing and safe loading procedures.
• Proficiency with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
• Forklift certification and operation experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMV to transport non-hazardous materials to designated sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; complete driver paperwork.
• Secure cargo and assist with loading/unloading; lift 30–50 lbs as required.
• Adhere to DOT requirements and regulations.
• Use ELD while operating CMVs and other vehicles.
• Operate yard truck and forklift; maintain certifications.
• Support trade show management on-site as needed.
• Perform other related work as required.
