American Driver in Lakeland, FL is hiring CDL-A drivers. New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of solo experience.

You will start with guaranteed weekly pay during training and receive one-on-one mentor training on the road. Move to full solo pay after training wraps, with an average weekly pay of $1,400 to $1,800 on the OTR package and a $1,000 guaranteed weekly pay for the first 3 months as a solo driver.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card.
• New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months verifiable solo experience
• Clean MVR and background check
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing

Responsibilities

• Operate across mixed lanes with steady weekly mileage.
• Live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and on-time delivery.

What It Takes

• New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months verifiable solo experience


• Teams and owner operators welcome


• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card, 21 years or older


• Clean MVR and background check


• Must pass hair and urine drug testing

Getting Started

• Guaranteed weekly pay while you train


• One-on-one mentor training on the road


• Move to full solo pay the day training wraps


• 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school required

What You'll Earn

• Average weekly pay of $1,400 to $1,800 on the OTR pay package

• $75 plus mileage for short haul loads, $15 stop pay
