Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver – CDL (A) to safely operate heavy trucks on assigned routes and ensure timely delivery and removal of containers. You will perform inspections, comply with safety standards, and interact professionally with customers and dispatchers.

Two years of commercial driving experience and a Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement are preferred. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and helping maintain operational efficiency across routes.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely drive heavy truck along designated routes and serve customers.
• Operate controls to load, unload, and dispose of waste materials.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and team members.
• Perform minor repairs to containers and report issues as needed.
• Complete route productivity sheets and safety reports.
