Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL-A driver to operate heavy trucks and service customers on a designated route safely and efficiently. You will complete daily vehicle checks, load waste, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include courteous customer interaction, minor repairs, and accurate reporting. A valid Class A CDL with air brakes is required, with prior experience preferred for this role in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate a heavy truck along designated routes to service customers.
• Load/unload waste, operate container equipment, and dispose at facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and staff daily.
• Perform minor container repairs and tag unsatisfactory containers.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable material and maintain vehicle readiness.
