Job summary

American Driver LLC in Jacksonville, NC is seeking entry‑level regional drivers for dry van freight along the East Coast. New drivers train with a mentor for 4 to 6 weeks, paid $850 a week, and are supported as they start.

You can earn $1,200 to $1,700 per week on average, with $0.55 to $0.65 per mile to start, plus $15 per stop and a monthly bonus. Expect 1,900–2,300 miles weekly and be home every two weeks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL, 21+.
• New driver with 120 hour school certificate, or 6 months of recent experience.
• Record: no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no DUI/DWI in 10.
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug test.

Pay

• $1,200 to $1,700 average per week

The work

Dry van freight across the East, never west of the Mississippi. Drop and hook, preloads and some live loads. You are home every two weeks, and your truck is assigned to you.

Your first steps

A recruiter calls and checks your license and record with you up front. Orientation is in Richmond, takes 2 days at most, and pays $300 once you are hired, with the hotel covered and your bus ticket reimbursed. Then mentor training, then your own truck.
