Job summary

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for a Class A Linehaul Driver at our Sauget, IL Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

CDL Class A is required, with 1 year of verifiable linehaul experience and a clean driving record. PTO is available after 90 calendar days, and an excellent benefits package including our employee resorts is offered.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience in past 3 years.
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP with limited violations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A linehaul trucks pulling vans up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers.
• Return home daily as a Linehaul Driver.
• Maintain safe operation and compliance with DOT requirements.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• M ust be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable
  
  
  

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
