R+L Carriers is hiring a Class A Linehaul Driver in New Orleans, LA. Drive van or double trailers between service centers and turn-points, returning home daily.

PTO becomes available after the first 90 calendar days, and employees enjoy a strong benefits package including resort accommodations. Qualifications

• CDL Class A credential required.
• 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Good driving record: MVR/PSP with no serious violations and ≤3 moving violations in 3 years.
• Age 23, 21+ if FMCSA military-to-civilian transition.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a road test.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop; dependability required.

Responsibilities

• Operate van or double trailers up to 53’ between service centers and turn-points.
• Return home daily after trips.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements at all times; maintain compliance with company policies.

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our New Orleans, LA Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Requirements

• CDL Class A


• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years


• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.


• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL


• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times


• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen


• Must be able to complete a successful road test


• M ust be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty


• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements


• Experienced hauling Haz-mat


• Experienced pulling doubles


• Any LTL freight experience
