Job summary

R+L Carriers in Reno, NV is hiring for a Class A Linehaul Truck Driver. As a Linehaul Driver, you will haul van and double trailers between service centers and turn-points, returning home daily. CDL-A required, at least 1 year verifiable Class A experience, clean MVR/PSP, and pass DOT physical.

Earn $.78 CPM with a full benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k) with company matching, paid vacation & holidays, and exclusive employee resort lodging.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• At least 1 year verifiable Class A driving in the past 3 years.
• Good driving record with MVR and PSP, no serious violations.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must complete a successful road test.
• Must be dependable and able to operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between service centers.
• Return home daily after routes are completed.
• Operate equipment safely at all times and comply with DOT rules.

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Reno, NV Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
